Step 1. Wash your hands before catheterization.

Step 2. Open the package by peeling the tabs and take the urine bag out.

Step 3. Take out the Povidone Iodine Prep Pad from the pocket at the side of the bag. Clean the urethral meatus and surrounding area using the Povidone Iodine Prep Pad.

Step 4. Break the water sachet by squeezing and let the water run into the bag.

Step 5. You can hang the bag by using the marked hanger. Make sure the catheter is soaked for at least 30 seconds, and get ready for catheterization.

Step 6. Turn the bag upside down.

Step 7. Tear off at the indentation.

Step 8. Ease the catheter out of the bag and cathetrize. By holding on through the tail of the bag you do not need to touch the catheter.

Step 9. When urine flow ceases, withdraw the catheter and push it back into the bag. Tie off at the tail.

Step 10. Discard the bag with its contents. You can also empty it by tearing it open at the mark, and then discard it.
